Prepare Your Students for State Testing

Many of our students will participate in state testing this spring. Participation is important because results help students, parents and teachers understand whether students have mastered the content they need to know by the end of the school year to be on track for college and career success. Please help your students prepare to do their very best on these upcoming assessments.

The goal is to inform parents and guardians about the dates state assessments will be offered, as well as participation guidelines and tips on how to help their students prepare.

The testing window for the first set of exams (WIDA ACCESS for ELLs Summative Assessment) opens on Jan. 13.

In addition, we are sending an automated call to parents letting them know that an important communication about upcoming assessments is posted on school websites. The call will be sent out to middle and high school parents on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. We are encouraging parents to visit your websites to read the message above and access the letter, FAQ and guide.

Any Opt-Out letters are due no later than March 13.
